Every year on February 9th, we celebrate National Press Day (HPN) as a form of appreciation for the role of the press in society, the nation, and the state. The press plays a crucial role in delivering accurate and educational information while also raising public awareness about various emerging issues.
In today’s digital era, journalism faces increasingly complex challenges. Misinformation and hoaxes spread easily, making the press’s role in providing fact-based news even more essential. Press freedom is not just about the right to report news but also about the responsibility to present accurate, balanced, and non-misleading information.
National Press Day 2025 serves as a moment of reflection for media professionals in Indonesia to continue growing and becoming more professional. As a pillar of democracy, the press plays a key role in maintaining transparency, overseeing public policies, and serving as a platform for various public aspirations.
Let’s support high-quality, independent, and responsible journalism for a better future for our nation. With a strong and professional press, we can build a more informed and critical society in responding to various pieces of information.
Happy National Press Day 2025! May Indonesia’s press continue to progress and remain at the forefront of truth and accountability.

Hi Fikomers! The Isra Mi’raj event is one of the most significant moments in Islamic history, filled with profound spiritual meaning and valuable lessons. On this miraculous night, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) undertook an extraordinary journey from Masjid al-Haram in Mecca to Masjid al-Aqsa in Jerusalem, followed by an ascension to Sidrat al-Muntaha to meet directly with Allah Almighty.
During this event, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) received the command for Muslims to perform the five daily prayers. Prayer is not only a form of worship but also a spiritual bridge connecting humans with the Creator—a time for reflection, gratitude, and seeking guidance.
The Meaning and Reflection of Isra Mi’raj
Isra Mi’raj offers a deep message for Muslims to continuously improve the quality of their worship and fulfill Allah’s commands with full awareness. This journey reminds us that, despite life’s challenges, there is always a path to Allah’s pleasure for those who are patient and steadfast.
Additionally, this moment serves as a reminder of the importance of maintaining a strong relationship with Allah through prayer and increasing piety in daily life. By understanding the meaning behind Isra Mi’raj, we are encouraged to be more grateful for the blessings of faith and to strive for a better life.
Drawing Inspiration from Isra Mi’raj
Isra Mi’raj can inspire us to:
Enhance the Quality of Prayer: Make prayer a special time for supplication and drawing closer to Allah.
Express Gratitude and Reflect: Take time to reflect on life’s journey and be grateful for every blessing.
Become a Better Person: Increase acts of worship, improve character, and foster compassion toward others.
Let us celebrate Isra Mi’raj 1446 H with gratitude and reflection. Use this moment as a turning point to strengthen our relationship with Allah Almighty and with fellow human beings. May the spirit of Isra Mi’raj continue to inspire us to become more pious individuals and bring blessings to every step we take.
Happy Isra Mi’raj 1446 H, Fikomers. May we always be under the protection and grace of Allah Almighty.
