FROM CAMPUS FOR INDONESIA, FIKOM UG COMMEMORATES PANCASILA DAY 2026
Pancasila Day, commemorated every June 1, serves as an important reminder for the Indonesian people to continue upholding national values in the life of the nation and state. Pancasila stands as the foundation of the nation, uniting diversity, strengthening solidarity, and serving as a guiding principle in building a just, civilized, and cooperative society.
For the extended family of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Gunadarma University, the commemoration of Pancasila Day 2026 provides an opportunity to reflect on the role of education in instilling the values of unity, humanity, justice, and social responsibility. A campus is not only a place for learning, but also a space where character, care, and awareness to contribute to the nation are nurtured.
Amid the development of the times and technological advancement, the values of Pancasila need to continue to be brought to life in the way people think, communicate, and create. Diversity in perspectives, cultures, religions, and social backgrounds must be maintained through mutual respect, openness to differences, and prioritizing the common good.
In the field of communication science, Pancasila holds an important meaning as a foundation for building communication that is polite, ethical, inclusive, and responsible. Students, as the younger generation, are expected to use their knowledge and communication skills to disseminate positive information, strengthen unity, and create a positive impact on society.
Through the commemoration of Pancasila Day 2026, FIKOM UG invites all members of the academic community to make Pancasila a foundation for learning, creating, and contributing. From the campus environment, the values of Pancasila can continue to be preserved and implemented through concrete actions for the advancement of Indonesia.
Happy Pancasila Day, June 1, 2026.
Let us make Pancasila a guiding principle in thinking, communicating, and creating for Indonesia.
