EID AL-ADHA 1447 H, FIKOM UG REFLECTS ON QURBAN AS A SYMBOL OF SINCERITY AND SOCIAL CARE
Eid al-Adha 1447 H serves as an important occasion for Muslims to reflect on the meaning of sacrifice, sincerity, and care for others. Through the spirit of qurban, every individual is encouraged to give more sincerely, care more deeply for the surrounding community, and live life with greater sincerity.
The extended family of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Gunadarma University, wishes a blessed Eid al-Adha 1447 H / 2026 M to all members of the academic community and society who celebrate it. This occasion serves as a reminder that Eid al-Adha is not only related to the act of qurban, but also to sincerity of heart, gratitude, and the willingness to share with others.
This meaning is in line with QS. Al-Hajj verse 37, which explains that neither the meat nor the blood of sacrificial animals reaches Allah, but what reaches Him is piety. This verse reminds us that the main value of qurban lies in sincerity, devotion, and good intentions in carrying out the act of worship.
In the academic environment, the values of Eid al-Adha can serve as an inspiration for the academic community to continue fostering care, togetherness, and the spirit of sharing. Sincerity in seeking knowledge, willingness to help others, and readiness to provide benefits are important parts of building individuals with character and responsibility.
Through the occasion of Eid al-Adha 1447 H, FIKOM UG invites all members of the academic community to make the spirit of qurban a reminder to spread knowledge, strengthen brotherhood, and bring goodness to society.
Happy Eid al-Adha 1447 H / 2026 M.
May the spirit of sacrifice, sincerity, and care continue to strengthen our steps in spreading goodness.
