FIKOM UG STRENGTHENS ACADEMIC SYNERGY THROUGH THE ASPIKOM JABODETABEK REGIONAL WORK MEETING 2026

The Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Gunadarma (FIKOM UG), participated in the ASPIKOM JABODETABEK Regional Work Meeting (Rakerwil) held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Mashudi Hall, Faculty of Social Sciences, Cultural Sciences, and Communication Sciences (FISIB), Universitas Pakuan, Bogor.
A Strategic Momentum for Inter-University Collaboration
The ASPIKOM JABODETABEK Rakerwil served as a strategic forum for leaders and representatives of Communication Studies programs to align institutional visions and actions. The meeting discussed key agendas related to the dynamics of communication education, challenges of digital transformation, curriculum strengthening, and the enhancement of the tridharma of higher education.
The discussions and formulation of work programs are expected to strengthen collaborative networks among universities across the Jabodetabek region, while also encouraging higher education institutions to play an active role in addressing the evolving needs of society and the communication industry.

At this event, FIKOM UG was represented by Dr. Kiayati Yusriyah, M.M., M.I.Kom. The presence of FIKOM UG’s representative reflects the institution’s commitment to supporting professional organizations and advancing academic quality in the field of communication studies.
