PREPARING FOR SCIENTIFIC WRITING THROUGH THE FINAL DEFENSE: FIKOM UG TO HOLD A SCIENTIFIC WRITING DISSEMINATION SESSION FOR THE CLASS OF 2024

The Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Gunadarma, will hold a Scientific Writing (PI) Dissemination Session for all 3MA students from the Class of 2024. This activity is an important step in providing students with the knowledge and preparation they need before beginning the Scientific Writing process.
Through this dissemination session, students are expected to gain clearer information about the various stages of Scientific Writing, from preparing and developing their PI, undergoing the supervision process, to preparing for the final defense.
SCIENTIFIC WRITING DISSEMINATION SCHEDULE
The Scientific Writing Dissemination Session of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Gunadarma, will be held on:

Time: 8:30 AM (WIB) – until completion
Venue: Online via Zoom Meeting
All 3MA students from the Class of 2024 are expected to attend the session according to the scheduled time and pay close attention to the information and guidance provided throughout the event.
GETTING STARTED WITH SCIENTIFIC WRITING
Scientific Writing is an important part of the academic process that provides students with an opportunity to apply the research knowledge and skills they have acquired throughout their studies.
During the process, students will learn how to identify research problems, develop a literature review, determine appropriate approaches and methods, collect and analyze data, and present research findings systematically in accordance with academic standards.
Therefore, understanding the procedures and stages of Scientific Writing from the beginning is essential to help students prepare and conduct their research in a more structured and focused manner.
FROM DEVELOPING YOUR PI TO PREPARING FOR THE FINAL DEFENSE
This dissemination session will also provide students with a comprehensive overview of the entire Scientific Writing journey. Good preparation from the beginning can help students manage their time, establish effective communication throughout the supervision process, and complete each stage in accordance with academic requirements.
Students are also encouraged not to focus solely on completing the PI document, but to thoroughly understand the research process they undertake. A strong understanding of the research topic, theories, methods, data, and findings will be essential when students enter the final defense stage.
