With profound sorrow, we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Mr. Cholid Samsu, S.I.Kom., M.I.Kom., lecturer at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Gunadarma, on Friday, July 25, 2025.

His departure is a great loss for the FIKOM UG family, students, colleagues, and the entire academic community who knew him as a warm, humble, and highly dedicated individual in the field of education.

The late Mr. Cholid Samsu was known as an educator full of dedication and commitment in guiding and inspiring students. Throughout his service at FIKOM UG, he contributed greatly to the development of communication studies and became a role model in conduct, ethics, and the spirit of sharing knowledge.

His warmth, humility, and exemplary character will always be remembered by the Universitas Gunadarma community, especially by the students he once guided.

On behalf of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Gunadarma, we express our deepest condolences.
May Allah SWT accept all of his good deeds, forgive his sins, grant him spaciousness in his resting place, and place him in the best position by His side.

We also pray that the family he left behind is granted patience, strength, and sincerity in facing this loss.
