79th RI Anniversary Theme: Embracing Indonesia’s Future
This theme was chosen to reflect three significant moments that will become milestones for the Indonesian nation. First, the welcoming of Nusantara as the new capital city, which is expected to symbolize the spirit of Indonesia’s revival and renewal. Second, the transition of the presidency, which will bring new energy and direction for national development. Third, the grand step towards Golden Indonesia 2045, when Indonesia will celebrate its 100th anniversary of independence with a vision of becoming a developed, prosperous, and sovereign nation.
This year’s independence celebration is not just about remembering the struggles of the heroes who freed the nation but also about how we, as the next generation, can continue to fulfill their ideals. With deep gratitude, let us celebrate this Independence Day with a spirit of unity and joy.

On Wednesday, August 14, 2024, the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Gunadarma University (FIKOM UG), along with PSA UG, Database UG, and AKMRTV, held an important meeting for the alignment and coordination of the Credit Transfer Class curriculum. This meeting was a strategic step in preparing the curriculum to be implemented in the new academic year of 2024/2025.

The alignment meeting involved various stakeholders at Gunadarma University, including the Faculty of Communication Sciences, PSA UG, Database UG, and AKMRTV. Hello, Fikomers! Thursday, July 25, 2024, was a day filled with inspiration and excitement at Gunadarma University, Karawaci Campus. During the NET Goes to Gunadarma University event, students and lecturers united in the spirit of creativity and innovation through various engaging activities that were not only entertaining but also educational.
This event was a significant moment for all participants to gain new insights into the world of social media, which has now become an integral part of daily life. A series of exciting activities such as Sharing Sessions, IG Story Challenges, and Live Report Challenges were successfully held, receiving enthusiastic responses from the participants.
Sharing Session: “Trendy Social Media Content Today”
In the Sharing Session, which was the highlight of the event, participants gained in-depth knowledge about creating creative and relevant social media content in today’s digital era. This session was led by experts from NET TV, including Social Media Specialists who shared their experiences and tips on effectively managing social media. Dr. Pitoyo S.S., S.H., M.I.Kom, a lecturer from Gunadarma University, also shared his views on the importance of ethics in social media usage.
The discussion was moderated by Dr. Christiana Wulandari, a lecturer at Gunadarma University, who successfully energized the atmosphere and encouraged interactive discussions between the speakers and participants. Topics such as the latest content trends, techniques for creating engaging content, and ways to optimize the use of social media platforms were discussed in detail.
Excitement of the IG Story and Live Report Challenges
In addition to the discussion sessions, the event was also enlivened with various creative challenges that actively involved the participants. The IG Story Challenge and Live Report Challenge provided an opportunity for students to showcase their creativity in making engaging content. These challenges not only tested the participants’ technical skills in content creation but also encouraged them to think quickly and innovatively in conveying messages through social media.
Through this event, NET TV and Gunadarma University hoped to inspire students to be wiser and more creative in using social media. By positively utilizing digital platforms, Fikomers are expected to create content that is not only interesting but also beneficial and educational.
