FIKOM UG IN MOURNING: THE PASSING OF FAHMI SULAIMAN BASWEDAN

Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rojiun.

Sorrow has enveloped the academic community of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Gunadarma. On Thursday, August 14, 2025, one of our finest students, Fahmi Sulaiman Baswedan, a 2018 class student of the Communication Studies Program, has returned to the mercy of Allah SWT.

His passing leaves a deep grief for the entire FIKOM UG family. Throughout his studies at Universitas Gunadarma, he was known as a kind, friendly individual with a strong passion for learning. His presence on campus always brought warmth and positive energy to fellow students and lecturers alike.

We extend our deepest condolences for his passing. May Allah SWT accept all his good deeds, forgive his sins, and grant him the best place by His side.

We also pray for strength, patience, and fortitude for the family he leaves behind in facing this trial. Losing a child, sibling, or friend is never easy, yet we hope the prayers and support from the entire FIKOM UG family can bring comfort.

The late Fahmi Sulaiman Baswedan will always be remembered as an integral part of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Gunadarma. His footsteps, spirit, and kindness will forever live in our hearts.
