Hello, Fikomers! Vesak Day is a sacred moment commemorated by Buddhists around the world to honor three great events in the life of Siddhartha Gautama: his birth, enlightenment (Bodhi), and passing (Parinibbana). These events symbolize a deeply meaningful spiritual journey and inspire us to live with greater wisdom.

Vesak is not merely a religious celebration, but also a time for inner reflection for everyone. The universal values of peace, compassion, and wisdom taught by the Buddha serve as a reminder for us to do good, strengthen solidarity, and spread loving-kindness to all beings.
