FIELD WORK COURSE PROVISIONS FACULTY OF COMMUNICATION SCIENCES UNIVERSITAS GUNADARMA
A. OUTSIDE THE INDEPENDENT INTERNSHIP SCHEME (MBKM)
- Field Work Course is a practical work activity or internship at an institution/company, either profit or non-profit, whose existence can be ensured by good credibility or relevant government institutions in applying theoretical and professional skills in accordance with the scope of the field. Communication Studies
- Field Work Course learning method is based on problem-based learning (PBL) or Experiential Learning, namely learning as a result of the work process in order to solve a problem through the active involvement of students. Field Work Course participants are expected to have the ability to recognize work systems, recognize problems and work experience through the learning stages as follows: following:
- First, participant MPA looking for chance for gain concrete personal experience through observation and participation related to Communication Science,
- Second, carry out an analysis of the results of observations and participation in the MPA by evaluating conceptual and contextual aspects,
- Third, make conclusions and recommendations
- FIELD WORK COURSE activities are mandatory (academic) with a weight of 3 credits
- Every student MUST search by INDEPENDENT FIELD WORK COURSE location in accordance with the field of Communication Science
- The FIELD WORK COURSE process is carried out for a minimum of 1 (one) month and a maximum of 2 months without disturbing ongoing lectures
- When implementing FIELD WORK COURSE in institutions/companies, the activities carried out must be in the form of activities/work/job descriptions related to the field of communication science.
- It is recommended that the implementation of FIELD WORK COURSE be carried out during the lecture holidays, so as not to interfere with Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM).

- After completing the FIELD WORK COURSE period, students are required to obtain the following certificate:
- Certificate of completion of FIELD WORK COURSE activities from the institution/company concerned (letter format/template, adjusted to the policy of each company/institution)

- After completing the FIELD WORK COURSE activities, students are required to prepare a FIELD WORK COURSE report. Download FIELD WORK COURSE Activity Report Format
- Students are required to obtain supporting data such as documentation (photos) of activities at the FIELD WORK COURSE location, and other supporting data needed to prepare an internship report.
