PRAYERS AND SOLIDARITY FOR INDONESIA: FIKOM UG MOURNS THE DISASTERS AFFECTING THE NATION

We, the academic community of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Gunadarma (FIKOM UG), express our deepest condolences for the natural disasters that have struck various regions of Indonesia in recent times.
These tragedies have brought sorrow and loss to many of our brothers and sisters, yet they also remind us of the importance of empathy, solidarity, and unity as a nation.

May Allah SWT grant strength, protection, and patience to all communities affected by the disasters. We pray that the evacuation and emergency response efforts run smoothly, and that volunteers, medical personnel, and everyone involved in the relief efforts are granted health and safety. We also hope that the recovery of infrastructure, the economy, and social life can proceed swiftly and effectively.

As part of the academic community, FIKOM UG calls on all students, lecturers, and the wider public to foster social awareness and channel assistance in a proper and responsible manner.
A disaster is not only a test for those directly affected, but also for all of us, to strengthen our sense of humanity, mutual cooperation, and empathetic communication.

Indonesia has faced many trials and challenges throughout its history. Yet time and again, we have risen stronger through collective resilience. With unity, prayers, and compassion, we believe recovery will come, and this nation will stand tall once more.
