UNIVERSITAS GUNADARMA ATTENDS PUBLIC RELATIONS COORDINATION MEETING OF DEPOK CITY

Depok, September 11, 2025 – Universitas Gunadarma once again demonstrated its commitment to strengthening the role of public relations at the regional level. On Thursday, September 11, 2025, Universitas Gunadarma participated in the Depok City Public Relations Coordination Meeting, a strategic forum for PR practitioners across institutions.

This coordination meeting served as an important space to enhance collaboration and synergy among public relations officers from government agencies, academia, and other sectors. Its goal is to deliver public information services that are accurate, transparent, and easily accessible to the community, in line with the spirit of information openness and public accountability.

Through this forum, it is expected that government information can be delivered in a more targeted manner, building public trust and supporting ongoing transparency.

Universitas Gunadarma was represented by Dr. Dinda Rakhma Fitriani, S.I.Kom., M.I.Kom., Head of the Undergraduate Communication Studies Program. Her presence emphasized the importance of cross-sector collaboration, particularly in the fields of communication and public relations, to create more effective governance of public information.

As a higher education institution, Universitas Gunadarma also encourages the creation of a healthy communication ecosystem by involving students, lecturers, and practitioners in addressing public issues to ensure they are communicated accurately and fairly.

The synergy built through this coordination meeting is expected to strengthen the role of public relations in Depok City—not only as information providers but also as a bridge of trust between the government and the public.
